Postponed Wedding Blog Series: Recap

Covid-19 has impacted the wedding industry and we want to be a resource to all couples!  We’ve had to adapt our planning with shifting circumstances.  Our recommendation is to keep communication lines open with your venue and vendors in creating alternate plans and/or dates for potential scenarios.  Stay up-to-date with your state’s guidelines and they will help you make informed decisions efficiently.

If you have to change your date to a different season, you’ll want to consult with your florist.  There may need to be some substitutions and minor changes with your flowers due to seasonal availability.  We have the best floral designers at our sister company, Blooms by Essential Details; they can help you make these changes possible!

It is important to update your wedding website as soon as possible with a new date, location and other pertinent changes your guests need to be aware of.  We recommend you mail Change the Date cards to your guests to serve as the official announcement.  A change the date card is simple and includes basic updated information regarding your wedding after Save the Dates and/or invitations have gone out to guests.  Our in house Graphic Designer has created FREE Event Change Cards for you to download!

We encourage couples not to forget why you are having this great celebration in the first place.  One day this will all be part of the story you get to tell and the celebration will be that much sweeter.

If your plans have been affected by Covid-19 we are currently offering a Change the Date Coordination Service and/or $500 off our Partial Wedding Coordination Package!
